About Me
Graduating in the UK in the late 1970’s I have spent many years
living and working abroad. Much of my professional life has been
spent in the performing arts as the Administrative or Financial
Director of various companies arranging international tours and
exhibitions worldwide. My family became resident in the Charente
Maritime in 1988 and I followed permanently in 1999. I then
worked with several organisations before setting up this business
in 2004.
Having decided to establish a service to help the new and
established English speaking population I spent 6 months with a
French organisation researching the needs of this community,
establishing a network of contacts and working alongside various
professionals in French administration. Drawing on my knowledge
of the British system, this enabled me to understand the differences
between the British and French administrative cultures and to
learn about the functioning of the French system, identifying areas
of potential difficulty and working with the authorities to provide
their solutions.
I work from home and the quickest way to contact me is by
phone or email (best between 10am and 12 noon). This allows me
to find out what you need immediately and how I can help you.
We can then arrange a meeting if required. I am happy to come
to you if it is more convenient. Once we have agreed what help
you need, I take your details. I am then effectively on call when
and if you need help or advice. Simple contracts are offered for
ongoing work.
